Regarding MCA chief Dr Ling Liong Sik's deafening silence, I strongly agree with SJS that the transport minister's problem will simply not go away.

Ling, being the MCA chief and o­ne of the key leaders in Barisan Nasional, should defend himself the moment Soh Chee Wen branded him a liar publicly. Strangely, he chose not to. Even a person with lower standing in society will not keep quiet if being called a liar in a press conference.

Mr Ling, you have a lot to explain because at stake is not your goodself, but the MCA in particular and the Chinese Malaysian community in general. As BN secretary Mohamad Rahmat has rightly said, MCA and BN are fast losing the support of Chinese Malaysians in view of the many scandals within the MCA.

Act fast to save MCA and BN from more defeats in the coming general election.
