Truly hurt or playing politics?
Just when you thought Malaysians have grown up politically and in humanity, a photo surfaced that many claimed have hurt their feelings.
Malaysians feel that family members must carry the sins of their fathers and we must distance ourselves from all of them for generations to come as Rahman Dahlan tweeted, “even if it happened 100 years ago, don’t trivialise the tragic event”!
Why then are Malaysians sympathising with the refugees and even willing to take them in not knowing if any of their family members have joined IS or terrorist groups? Well, you may argue that they did not invade our land or kill any Malaysians. Of course, I did not consider that, but then...
Why is Malaysia so friendly with Japan when not too long ago they invaded our country, robbed, raped and killed countless of Malaysians? I am quite sure those Japanese leaders who are running their country now that their fathers or grandfathers were part of the Japanese forces that invaded our country unless proven otherwise.
Yes, we must condemned the terrorists that invade Sabah and killed many of our people but why condemn family members if they are not involved or defended what their fathers did? Again, you may say that they, including family members who may even defend their fathers, are claiming that Sabah belongs to them and we must resist at all cause and treat them as our enemy.
Good argument and if that is the case we must get our government to treat the Philippines as our enemy and stop our PM from having dinner or photo taken with their president over they claim that Sabah belongs to them. What have the Philippines authority done since their citizens invaded our country and killed many Malaysians. Have they destroyed those terrorist cells?
Without any commitment or action taken to stop those terrorists signal that the Philippines government are just letting them be. And what has Malaysia done other than placing full security alert, putting a strain on our personnel and costs instead of joining forces to wipe out the terrorists?
Instead of going after the Philippines government for the incursion by their citizens, politicians are playing politics with a photo!
While “a picture is worth a thousand words”, it is the people’s minds to read and figure it out in the right context. When you allow others to interpret it for you and jump into conclusion by agreeing with them that is when you fall into their trap, politically.
Many may comment that this is all bulls**t, the fact remains that Sabah was attacked and many Malaysians killed. I totally agreed, just wanted you all to take note that this is a political fight and nothing sincere from those who perpetuate this commotion.
