In response to the letter Bkt Antarabangsa folks fed-up with BN rep , I would like to say that I have been living in Bukit Antarabangsa for more than five years now and sadly, I have no inkling who my representatives (member of parliament and state assemblyperson) are although I did vote for them in the last general election (there were no credible contenders anyway).
I do not know who YB Azman Wahid is, how he looks like (bespectacled? bearded? short? tall?) and what he has done for the residents of Bukit Antarabangsa.
Yes, this is the sad state of affairs and the story will keep going on. Once elected, some of these reps turn to smoke and are not visible or accessible anymore.
As for the food court - yes, it is an eyesore. It was doing very well initially, but business does not seem to be too good these past few months. Some of the stalls are dilapidated, they look worse than 'kampung' houses in the interior of some Third World country.
In addition, new housing areas are being built, which means acres of jungle are being cleared. You can see land stripped off their foliage in the hills. What a waste!
