Okay, let's not discuss the Mongolian model murder case since it is sub judice and to be heard before the judge in June. We shall just pray for a fair trial and for justice to be carried out.

However, let's discuss the issue of national security. This is a side issue that has arisen as a result of that murder case but one that involves the safety and security of Malaysia. It is no small matter as a procedure in the military has been compromised.

The prime minister, if he has any sense of integrity, must ask how did C4 explosives get into the hands of civilian police and who had authorised the release of such explosives. I understand that C4 is not commonly used and not easy to produce.

How does the government continue to guarantee the safety and security of this nation when people can be murdered in such a violent manner? There ought to be a royal inquiry and heads should roll. This is one matter for which we cannot 'close one eye'.

The second issue of great importance are the allegations of huge sums of commission as a result of the Malaysian government buying submarines and fighter jets . Some of these purchases were apparently made through a company belonging to Razak Baginda, a close confidant of the Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak.

We know that it is common for the Malaysian government to use bumiputera companies as 'go between' so that certain individuals can receive such 'commissions'. This is common but to receive such huge amounts to the tune of hundreds of million is daylight robbery. I doubt the arms suppliers took the commissions out of their own profits from the sale.

These are the two issues at hand which are not sub judice and irrelevant to the Mongolian beauty murder case. During the trial, the judge will surely say that these two issues are irrelevant, so either the PM or DPM must say something now to address this issue.
