I refer to the letter Killing of Korean won't help Islam's image .

I find the letter to be in poor taste, ill-informed and vexing to say the least. There's a war waging in Afghanistan and there are Muslims as well as Atheist agnostics and Christians mangled in this conflict. The facts are clear - Muslims are both the target and victims of foreign powers bent on conquering lands of the indigenous peoples who 'happen' to be Muslims with vast amount of natural resources and economic strategic interest.

The holding of hostages is on both sides of the conflict and should be condemned with the same verbosity. As in the case of the Koreans, their presence there is part and parcel of the invading forces occupying Afghanistan and their capturing has nothing to do with Islam. Instead it is the conflict people like you who think where it is okay to kill women and children and then pass them of as statistics, collateral damage and terrorists. Hence the reason for the prolongation and the extremes of such a conflict.

Korea joined its master and interests in two immoral and illegal wars in foreign (sovereign) countries against the wishes of an overwhelming majority of the Korean population. The hostages knew fully that their visit had risks.

Muslims aren't to be blamed for Islamphobia. It is the racist, greedy and ignorant people who fear equality of existence. And why couldn't these missionaries go to North Korea or China? By going to Afghanistan, they were aiding and abetting a criminal invasion that is perpetuating the conflict.

South Korea has combat troops both in Afghanistan and Iraq. Why not demand for an end to the conflicts rather than wish for a pliant Muslim world to sit idly by while Muslims are converted into a landless herd of impoverish domesticated Christian followers?
