I refer to the letter What if Cho is a Muslim

Any form of cold-blooded murder or act of massacre is terrible. Nonetheless, there is a difference between the Taliban execution of a Korean in Afghanistan and the murderous rampage by student Cho Seung-Hui, 23, at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

The former has been political, a deliberate act of blackmail through cold-blooded murder (or terrorism, in the very meaning of the word) while the latter was the terrible outcome of a demented mind.

While Seek Justice may wish to argue that Poor Malaysian has been selective , he or she hasn't diminished the latter's argument that '... by now, all the Koreans in this world would be Islamphobic'.

While I am against the American-led occupation of Afghanistan, or for that matter the occupation of any sovereign country, we need to be mindful that Taliban had executed, in the case discussed, a harmless non-combatant, a Christian no doubt, but still an unarmed civilian.

There is still a worldwide perception against such terrorism which results in the murder of civilians (especially those perpetrated by the US and Israeli military), unlike the Taliban insurgent activities against the Nato military forces. Whether America, Israeli, Jemaah Islamiah or Taliban, the killing of unarmed civilians is the evil act of a coward.

Poor Malaysian is right the Taliban's callous act hasn't done much good for Islam.
