I totally agree that the whole issue has been blown out of proportion by certain politicians to gain mileage or to divert attention from bigger issues. We have more important issues to focus on rather than on this youth who has made a mistake and who has also apologised.

If he has broken any law, let the relevant authority handle it, period. Why try to show one is more patriotic than the other by harping on this case over and over again?

I remember during the last Umno general meeting when Umno leaders made statements that could have created social unrest. They are political leaders whereas this Wee Meng Chee is a nobody. Why waste time on this matter?

I will never forget Education Minister Hishammuddin Hussein Onn brandishing his 'keris' at the Umno AGM until the day I die. I felt sorry for him. Did he know what he was doing? He is still defending his action to this day. That's really sad.

To all politicians - please promote racial harmony.
