LETTER | Some say Bersatu is breaking apart, that the house its president Muhyiddin Yassin built is burning.
But the truth is, the fire did not come from weakness, it’s from greed, jealousy, and betrayal.
Muhyiddin stands firm. He does not bow to pressure or follow the wind. His calmness is not silence; it is strength.
He did not build Bersatu for himself.
He built it with a sincere heart, to defend the dignity of the Malays, to protect the unity of the nation, to uphold the rights of non-Malay citizens, and to preserve the identity of Islam, the banner that once guided this country with pride and honour.
That banner must never fall. It carries the values that made Malaysia strong: justice, fairness, and respect among all races.
Muhyiddin has carried that spirit quietly, even when others have forgotten what the struggle means.
Today, many shout about reform and progress, but their hearts are filled with hunger for power.
They talk of loyalty, yet plot behind closed doors. They forget the trust of the people.
Muhyiddin is not like them. He chooses patience over anger, truth over popularity.
Not up in smoke
For him, leadership is not about being loved, it is about being responsible, standing firm even when alone.
The fire around him will not destroy him. It will burn away hypocrisy and reveal who truly stands for the cause.
The truth is, Bersatu and its institutions are the real strength of the party.
They were built on discipline, trust, faith in the struggle, and the guidance of steady leadership.
These values will outlast the noise, the rumours, and the games of those who chase power without purpose.
When the smoke clears, one truth will remain, a leader who holds firmly to his faith, his people, and his nation will never fall. He may bend with the storm, but he will never break.
