“Dewan Rakyat must move to investigate through its select committee so that the actual facts can be made known,” he was quoted by Bernama as saying today in Jempol, Negeri Sembilan today.
“It would serve as a lesson to all leaders, so that they do not stoop to lying and distorting the facts,” he added.
Last week, Independent Bayan Baru parliamentarian Zahrain Mohd Hashim made explosive claims that Anwar had alleged the King and the armed forces chief were in support of Pakatan Rakyat’s plan to take over the federal government on September 16.
Another Negeri Sembilan MP, Rembau BN parliamentarian Khairy Jamaluddin ( right ), said Zahrain made the revelation from his experience in the opposition and not coached by BN.
"Zahrain was disappointed with Parti Keadilan Rakyat and the PKR adviser and opposition leader.
Let's wait for the debate on the royal address,” he told reporters in Subang, Selangor, today.
