The Selangor Malay Chamber of Commerce has regretted being sidelined by the Selangor government when discussing the economic position of the Malay businessmen and entrepreneurs in the state.

rozali ismail puncak niaga Its president Rozali Ismail said the Selangor government should take advantage of its members for the economic development of Malays in Selangor.

"We were never consulted by the state government to discuss the economic position of the Malays and their economic development in Selangor.

"We are very keen in making contribution together to develop Selangor," he told the media at the break of fast with the Sultan of Selangor and presentation of Aidilfitri aid in Shah Alam  last night.

Earlier, Rozali said the Malays would never be able to enjoy the benefit of development as provided by the government if they continued to quarrel among themselves.

The Sultan of Selangor earlier presented Aidilfitri aid from the

chamber to 880 orphans and single mothers from 22 parliamentary constituencies in the state.

He also received commercial zakat payment of RM3.04mil from Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd.
