DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang says expelled PAS exco member Hasan Ali has “lost a few screws” in his head following his latest allegation that the Pakatan partner will merge Malaysia with Singapore.

Lim ( below ) said Hasan may have shocked his “masters” when he made the wildest and most preposterous allegation that once Pakatan takes over Putrajaya, the DAP will merge Malaysia with Singapore, abolish Article 153 of the federal constitution and do away with Islamic enactments.

NONE “One should get outraged and incensed at lies and falsehoods, but when they are so far-fetched, with Hasan talking as if he has got more than a few screws loose in his head, it is impossible to get angry and outraged but only have feelings of great pity at the gibberish outpouring from him,” said Lim.

“It is clearly an utter waste of time to try to reason with such a deranged person.”

Lim was commenting on Hasan’s speech at his first roadshow in Bangi, Selangor, last night where the former Selangor PAS commissioner said that DAP would join hands with Singapore’s PAP once Pakatan takes over Putrajaya.

Reserves the right to legal action

NONE Lim, who is also the Ipoh Timor MP, said the party reserved the right to take all necessary legal action against such defamatory falsehoods, whether coming from Hasan ( left ) personally or others spreading his falsehoods.

“Hasan has become the very personification of the ‘extremist’ whom Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak had exhorted all moderates to rise up and oppose.

“With this extreme ease, Hasan seems to have  put  Ibrahim Ali - of Perkasa and the Chinese New Year ‘white ang pow’ notoriety - in the shade and has emerged as the number one extremist in the land,” he added.

Lim wants Malaysians to ponder why there has been such an  upsurge of extremists during Najib’s 34-month premiership.

This, he said, was causing the worst racial and religious polarisation in the country’s 55-year history, despite Najib’s 1Malaysia and ‘moderates of the world, unite’ calls.

“Are Hasan and Ibrahim basically the creations of Najib’s premiership and the reasons why the only way Malaysia can be saved from such extremists is to effect real political change in the forthcoming 13th general election by electing a Pakatan Rakyat federal government in Putrajaya?” he asked.

Meanwhile, PAS Youth information chief Ridhuan Mohd Nor questioned why Hasan was biased in only attacking Pakatan Rakyat and its leaders and is seen as a tool by various parties, including the ruling government.

“What is puzzling is he only attacks PAS and Pakatan Rakyat leaders, including from the PKR and DAP. However, the biggest vice is done by the country’s leaders led by Umno.

“PAS Youth is disappointed that Hasan only faults PAS and accuses certain party leaders as parasites. However, on the vice done by the Umno-BN leaders, Hasan had chosen to keep quiet,” asked Ridhuan.

“If it is true that Hasan wants to safeguard Islamic beliefs, he should have attacked Umno for running the country for decades. They have the power to gazette and enforce laws in the country. Hasan should ask what the Umno leaders have done regarding the Muslims’ beliefs in more than 50 years of independence.

“Please ask Umno leaders whether they want to implement Islamic law wholeheartedly and when it would be implemented.

“If Pakatan Rakyat leaders are accused of being Israeli agents, Hasan should also investigate the background of Umno and its leaders in hiring Apco and its link with Israel, and the company Asia Soft in controlling the police system of communications. Please check who are behind the company and its link with Israel,” he said.

 

Ridhuan also asked why Hasan has not questioned the abuse of tithe funds or corruption and abuse of power by certain leaders.

“Why he has not made any comment on that? If Hasan prolongs his stance through Jati, it would be a laughing stock to the people,” he warned.
