Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim is meeting Pakatan Rakyat assemblypersons this week to discuss the possibility of dissolving the state assembly after Chap Goh Meh.

 

azlan “We just got back to work. We will make the announcement (on whether to dissolve the state assembly) after the meeting.

“(We will meet them) this week,” he told the media after the state exco meeting in Shah Alam today.

He said so when asked to comment on his Jan 30 statement that his government would dissolve the assembly after Chap Goh Meh should no general election date be announced by the prime minister by then.

However, he reportedly said the decision would depend on the highest leaders in Pakatan Rakyat.

Chap Goh Meh is celebrated on the 15th day of Chinese New Year.
