Three ministers back Zambry to retain MB's post
Three federal ministers including, Umno vice-president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, voiced support for incumbent Perak Menteri Besar Zambry Abdul Kadir, to retain his post should BN win in the pivotal 13th general election.

Besides Ahmad Zahid, the other ministers based in Perak who also threw in their support include Second Finance Minister Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Nazri Aziz.
"The three of us have pledged to give our undivided support to Zambry to lead the state after the general election," the New Straits Times quoted Ahmad Zahid ( left ) who is also defence minister as saying.
"Besides me, Ahmad Husni and Nazri have no intention of being the next Perak menteri besar."
Ahmad Zahid said this would kill speculation that Zambry would be replaced by one of them, he told a gathering at Tanjung Piandang near Parit Buntar.
Several other newspapers including Utusan Malaysia and Berita Harian also carried similar reports, with Berita Harian giving it front page treatment.

quoted Ahmad Zahid as saying that the meet-the-people session was to help Zambry step up efforts in retaining Perak, and not directed at replacing him.
"He (Zambry) has brought a lot of development to Perak, always goes to the ground and is close to the people," said the Umno vice-president.
Speculation is rife that Ahmad Hosni or Ahmad Zahid may replace Zambry ( right ) in the coming polls should BN retain Perak.
Zambry was installed in that office in the wake of the silver state's 2009 constitutional crisis which saw three Pakatan assemblypersons, one from DAP and two from PKR, abandoning ship, triggering the fall of then-MB Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin's administration.
