YOURSAY ‘It is high time for PM Najib Razak to show leadership.’
Start barking or M'sia will go to the dogs, PM told
Ksn:
The country seems to be run and governed by extremists like Perkasa, Isma, Zulkifli Noordin, etc, who threaten the country and the non-Malays with a May 13 repeat.
All this time, those who are supposed to run the country are in elegant silence mode. Do they not understand the frustration these extremists are causing the country? Do we need another May 13 when the tragedy should never be repeated?
Do these extremists really believe that it will only be the others who will suffer in such a situation? Yes, the fanatics are already causing problems and if they are not silenced for good, the country will go to the dogs.
It is high time for Prime Minister Najib Razak to show leadership.
RR: The question is when will Perkasa information chief Ruslan Kassim be charged? If not done within the next seven days, the non-Umno ministers in the cabinet should insist it is carried out or they should resign en bloc.
Threatening to chop off people's heads is very, very serious matter. This man must be put in a lunatic asylum, as he is a very dangerous person.
Hbasill: Angkatan Perubahan Sabah (APS) president Wilfred Bumburing, don't just talk, walk the talk because the people elected you to protect their rights.
Today you say these things, but something must be the driving force that prevents you from doing anything positive.
Stop seeking popularity knowing that the people of Sabah dislike what is happening now, but are now powerless because their elected leaders have betrayed their trust.
Anonymous #33877536: Sabah representatives have the numbers in Parliament, so what are you waiting for?
Forget about Parti Bersatu Sabah chief Pairin Kitingan, he will not do anything. You are right, dangerous words are freely spoken out there and the government is keeping quiet.
It's A Shame To Be Malaysian: We have tons of ministers in the office, but they all keep quiet and continue to draw their salaries. The PM meanwhile even has the time to sue Malaysiakini .
Bumiputhran: The country is not going to the dogs. It has already, and it's swirling in a cesspool.
Abasir: "l call upon the prime minister to provide us the kind of leadership the country needs," said Bumburing.
Listen, he cannot provide what he does not have. Period.
Rahman Dahlan wants Anwar's head to roll
Negarawan: If Pakatan Rakyat cannot work together towards a solution for this water crisis, it will be bad news for them in the next GE. Period.
While there is no doubt that Umno is partly behind the troublemaking, Pakatan's policy of free water and cheap water needs to be reviewed to curb wastage and excessive usage. They should look at how Penang is managing its water resources.
War Child: I am very surprised by the stand taken by Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua and hopefully it represents his personal view and not that of DAP Selangor.
My own view is that water resource was managed by private companies and it is still unclear whether acquisition by the state government is completed.
The problem of water supply to Selangor and Kuala Lumpur consumers needs time to be resolved and there is no quick fix.
Thana55: Sorry 'War Child'. Selangor MB Khalid Ibrahim should not have made a statement/promise of no water cuts. Khalid has to go.
Kheng: Why is Kota Belud MP Abdul Rahman Dahlan shooting Selangor economic adviser Anwar Ibrahim and not Khalid?
Simple: Anwar is deemed a huge threat to Umno's survival come GE14 but his shelf life is dependent on the PM, and they in all probability had the MB in their pockets.
Abasir: Abdul Rahman, if he had any self-respect, would offer his head for the abysmal conditions in Sabah. But he won't.
Alternatively, he should ask someone more educated than he is, to explain to him the meaning of "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones".
CiViC: As expected, Abdul Rahman, who only a week ago wrote an " inspiring " article on what is needed of BN, is back again with the same hypocrisy presented in his article.
Headhunter: This puts to test the saying that one should be careful when pointing one's finger at someone because three of your fingers are pointing back at yourself.
Who's looking like an idiot now?
