PAS' Pasir Mas MP Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz has labelled his Pakatan partners as bullies, claiming that they were mistreating the Islamic party.

 

Nik Abduh, in a Facebook posting today, accused PKR and DAP of inciting hatred against the Islamic party.

 

"Today, aside from Umno, PKR and DAP have started to bully PAS. PAS is seen to be struggling, not knowing who to hold on to as neither would do.

 

"Even though (PAS) is still in Pakatan, they incite communities and Pakatan supporters to hate PAS," he said in a posting entitled 'PAS and the story of bullying'.

 

Nik Abduh, who is a PAS central committee member, singled DAP and likened it to Umno for its bullying, adding that even PKR's bullying was not as bad.

 

"DAP is like Umno. They are happy and proud when they have power," said the son of PAS spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.

 

Nik Abduh said DAP had become proud after only being in power for a full term whereas PAS, which was often bullied, has been in power for a long time in Kelantan and Terengganu.

 

He added the party appeared to be raising PAS' apparent failure while forgetting the Islamic's party's successes and DAP's own failings.

 

"PKR too wants to bully PAS like DAP. It not only bullies but also steals," he said in a snide reference to PAS state assemblypersons Saari Sungib ( left ) (Hulu Kelang) and Hasnul Baharuddin (Morib) who sided with PKR and DAP in the Selangor crisis.

 

However, Nik Abduh said "fortunately", PKR was not as strong as DAP therefore even though its bullying was hurtful, it was not as serious.

 

In further reference to the Selangor crisis, Nik Abduh said it was DAP's loss by bullying PAS in a bid to support PKR.

 

'DAP will lose if PAS is angry'

 

"It's like a man bullying his older wife after he gets a younger wife," he said, adding that the party will regret it.

 

He warned that if PAS really does get angry at DAP, the latter will be on the losing side.

 

"Perhaps it is difficult for DAP to accept but when PAS suddenly changes its mood and gets angry at DAP, it is that moment that DAP will lose.

 

"Perhaps Chinese and Indian voters will switch, they may become afraid of DAP. The rakyat want peace, truth, solidarity in life," he said.

 

However, Nik Abduh ( left ) said he "could be wrong" if DAP ended up befriending Umno.

 

Thus far, he said PAS had not really reacted against the bullying, adding that it was strong and would survive with or without Pakatan.

 

PAS’ ties with its Pakatan partners have soured after the Selangor crisis as the Islamic party could not agree with PKR and DAP on a new menteri besar candidate.

 

Nik Abduh's comments today is the second salvo against PAS' Pakatan partners in two days after Temerloh MP Nasrudin Hassan  yesterday  blasted  the DAP-led Penang government for "silencing its critics".

 

Nasrudin was upset at the Penang Municipal Council's move to suspend Penang PAS treasurer Iszuree Ibrahim who had accused the state government of implementing "BN's pro-developer policies".

 

Meanwhile, Iszuree continued to slam the Penang government for his suspension.

 

"I think it's undemocratic and the direction of the DAP state government is like talking but without being able to walk the talk, it's all gimmicks only," he was quoted as saying by Bernama .
