The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) has denied ever receiving any sort of complaint of misconduct or abuse of power against the Menteri Besar Azmin Ali.

The state corporation, however, said that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has the right to investigate any complaints related to PKNS and will not intervene in the probe.

"[We] never received any complaints against him involving misconduct or abuse of power.

"We also agree to fully cooperate with MACC in order for them to do their job," said public relations manager Ishak Hashim in a statement today.

Ishak was referring to reports that Azmin (left) is being investigated for alleged mismanagement of funds during his time as director of PKNS.

Meanwhile, MACC investigation director Mohd Jamidan Abdullah said that their investigators are still collecting evidence on the case.

"MACC will not reveal or give any information regarding this investigation till it is sent to the Attorney-General’s Chambers," Jamidan was quoted saying by national newswire Bernama .
