Controversial academic Ridhuan Tee Abdullah has urged the country to press on with Islamisation and not take heed of those he claimed were not keen for a place in heaven.

"We are too afraid of the human rights movement. Why do we not safeguard the rights of Allah?

"My advice is, before Allah's wrath is upon us, start implementing the pure values of religion.

"Do not bother about those who do not want to enter heaven. They are sponsored by the West to destroy Muslims in our country," said Ridhuan in his latest column in Sinar Harian  Malay daily yesterday.

Zooming into the controversial ban on Christians from using the word 'Allah' to refer to God, Ridhuan said if non-Muslims insisted on using the Arabic word, then they should also accept Islamic values.

The former National Defence University lecturer urged the country to emulate Brunei that has rolled out hudud, which supports punishment with amputation.

"Do what Brunei is doing. Its sultan had never cared about that the international community or human rights has to say," he said.

Ridhuan proposed that Malaysia can start by emulating Royal Brunei Airlines which he said passengers felt 'Allah's' presence when onboard - as it did not serve alcohol, its air stewardess cover up and the flight starts off with a prayer.

"Are the lessons from MH17 and MH370 still not enough?" he said.

Likewise, he said the mufti in Brunei too had no qualms in criticising its leaders for the sake of Islam, unlike Malaysia, where he said there were many "apple polishers".
