Make sure NFC repays every single sen
YOURSAY ‘This is the answer to Ridhuan Tee on why pigs outnumber cows.’
Federal gov't to cancel NFC contract
CQ Muar: Actions speak louder than words. Just make sure there's follow-up and ensure the loan is finally and fully recovered or repaid... not mere display of "competence and impartiality" of the ruling government.
For all we know, there were lots of irregularities that had taken place before and after the said loan was approved and released owing to the position and influence of a certain minister.
The RM250 million would have gone unnoticed if it wasn't due to the sharp eye and exposure of a certain 'hawk'. Such corruptible deeds are nothing new amongst the top leaders, and this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Dont Just Talk: Ensure that the chairperson and all the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) directors are made bankrupt and nothing less.
Charge those who used their positions to enrich themselves and for investing in high-end condos in Orchard Road and Marina Bay in Singapore using the RM268 million soft-loan meant for cattle breeding.
Malaysians want every dollar given out to this politically-connected family is recovered, nothing less.
Mushiro: This is Umno's methodology. Use government funds to feed their leaders with millions of ringgit and forget about the repayment.
Even in this case when NFC is caught and badly exposed, payment still cannot be made as the business model is not viable. The business model was just to feed former minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil's family.
Avatar_2397: This was all part of the original plan, wasn't it? Get the loot through the back door, spend it on luxury items totally unrelated to the project, declare huge losses and leave the carnage to the taxpayers, thanks to the generosity of BN.
Odysseus: Finally, the cows are coming home. But, hang on, I wonder if the cows can find their way out of the luxury condo.
Until this case is brought to court and those responsible punished accordingly, all these are just another bunch of text read out by the ‘parrot’ minister.
Anonymous_4031c: Unless the directors of the company have personally given their guarantee to repay the loan, the defaulting company may just be wound up with the bulk of the debt remaining unpaid.
The assets of the company may be insufficient to repay the loan and the outstanding amount owing in time to come will be written off as a bad debt by the government.
Whatsup: It proves yet again, the opposition is much needed. The incumbent party would make the best opposition with their tonnes of experience.
Is this just the tip of the iceberg that came to light? How about others? Any more such exposes? Unlikely.
From now onwards, mega-million and -billion projects will surely be classified under the Official Secrets Act (OSA).
Continue-The-March: Imagine that the RM250 million had been given as a loan to a genuine and capable company to rear cows, Malaysian today would have plentiful good beef to enjoy.
Instead as usual the money was given to Umno Baru cronies to enrich themselves to buy condominiums in Singapore, etc.
If without the expose by PKR’s Razifi Ramli on this shameful episode, we would not have known.
Oh Sharizat: I don't need RM250 million. I will be satisfied with a government loan of just RM100 million.
I know that if I don't service the loan all the government can do is to take legal action to recover, that is, if there is still money left after a few years of inaction.
I am an equally loyal Malaysian, please take note that I too want such an easy loan. Don't you guys blame Shahrizat.
She knows nothing about the loan even though she shares the same bed and stays in the same house as the man who got the RM250 million.
Lim Chong Leong: "The government will then cancel the agreement with NFC and will take legal action."
And it will be like MAS’ legal suit. An "off-site discussion" in the PM's words, followed by an ultra secret settlement agreement prepared by an Umno lawyer. 1Bolehland saga repeats itself.
Jaycee: This is another exercise in futility (EIF). At the end of the day, nobody will be held accountable and the rakyat are left to foot the bill.
Anonymous_1399517796: This is the answer to controversial academic Ridhuan Tee Abdullah's question on why pigs outnumber cows . Ridhuan sudah tanya orang yang salah.
Lukesky: Yes this drama will end in NFC declaring bankruptcy or a secret OSA-protected settlement agreement. RM250 loan recovery will be close to zero.
Kathleen Ong: They are using all their resources plus paid external top-notch lawyer to find justice for the sperm up Saiful's rectum that they have no time to prosecute and punish the crooks behind the NFC.
What misguided priorities...
Isana: Later the attorney-general will decide not to press charges as he will say this is a sacred cow project and the owner has no intention of hurting the feelings of other cow owners.
