All in the family - first Rosmah, now stepson

YOURSAY ‘What a good stepfather Najib is. Rosmah must be proud of him.’

Najib threatens to sue Harakah over stepson

Magnus: Well, maybe one has to find some real tangible way to use up all that surplus loose cash someone from Raub is reported to have alleged he saw floating around in a well-stocked-up safe.

And paying for a lawyer's bread and butter, like that of the self-promoting sterling pillar of judiciousness called Shafee something or other, might be a more realistic way to lighten one's load and get rid of any alleged over-capacity of surplus cash one may be lumbered with, particularly given that one can't really help one’s hairdresser’s earnings too much since one is somewhat more follicularly challenged than some others.

Dont Just Talk: Instead of suing Harakah , PM Najib Razak should explain to Malaysians, how his stepson Riza Aziz, could afford to purchase a penthouse in New York in 2012 for US$33 million, equivalent to RM110 million.

If the money is from Rosmah, who is a housewife with no income, as admitted by her when she explained that her hairdo cost RM1,200, then who are the sponsors helping Riza Aziz to pay for the purchase of the penthouse?

Caripasal: Najib fails to protect the reputation of his late father. In fact, the PM’s Department headed by him has grossly tarnished the good name of Abdul Razak Hussein.

He kept his silence in not clarifying PMO (Prime Minister’s Office) statement about his father's wealth. But when it comes to defending Rosmah's son, he is lightning quick.

What a good stepfather he is. Rosmah must be proud of him.

TC Chan: On what I read so far, Najib has no legal standing to sue. His stepson is an adult so he should sue if he is aggrieved.

Mohican: Wow, sue for what? Harakah has not accused him but only questions whether IMDB funds were used to finance his stepson.

All he has got to do is counter the allegations and if Harakah still persists only then sue. As a mouthpiece of an opposition party, Harakah has got the right to question without any direct accusations aimed at him.

Louis: Harakah might say, "Bring him on! We are waiting."

Yes, I think this is the only way to bring Najib and his wife Rosmah Mansor into public scrutiny. They will be grilled by Harakah's lawyers.

Anonymous #19098644: Indeed, PAS will now have the opportunity to put the PM on  the stand and ask him all the questions they wanted to know about 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

It is also a terrific opportunity to ask the PM what his office meant when they issued the statement, especially on the inherited family wealth which enables the Najib family to fund its many ventures and their lifestyle.

Vijay47: I pity those of you who do not subscribe to Hairstro.

Following the recent Oscars, they have started a Blockbuster Spectacle Season with exciting first-run shows, including "The Brothers Kazakmazov: Pilot - One is Missing", "The Pussycat and The Driver, also known as Behind the Green Camera - Starlet Gets Shafeeted", "Running Scared: Triads and Lance-Korporal General", "The Wolf of Jalan Dinding", "Along the Silk Road - Canaries From Mongolia to Australia", "Has Hadi Had it? All Things Must Come to PAS".

Children have not been forgotten, for them there is "Pekan Bridge is Falling Down, Falling Down, My Hair Lady". Excuse me, while I go and stock up on my kacang.

For Rosmah, Rafizi starts hairy campaign

Rick: The opposition has done a great job by conquering the almighty virtual media, which they were forced to do when the government-controlled media snubbed them.

Thanks to the government of Malaysia, as they were busy filling their pockets and didn't saw this coming. And now, they have to hire half-cooked cybertroopers to catch up and do damage control.

Anyway, Kak Ros, please keep us entertained.

Warga Emas: Rosmah did not mention how often she has her hair done. If it is RM1,200 per time, how many times does she do in a month? And how much would it have cost a year?

Munky: Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli, you know what else is expensive? Cars.

Enough with the jokes, how about you get back to work on car prices ?

Siang Malam: On one of her holiday trips on board a luxury yacht belonging to an Arab prince, Rosmah was reported to have found a diamond ring worth US$2 million.

When she returned the ring, the prince gave a big donation to a Malaysian charity. I love all these ‘cerita donggeng’ (fairy tales).

Malaysia Ku: Indeed, a truly hair-raising episode in the annals of Malaysia's history.
