PARLIAMENT Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia has rejected an emergency motion from a PAS lawmaker to debate Anwar Ibrahim's bid to attend the current Parliament session as he is still the opposition leader.

Pandikar said the motion, filed by Hanipa Maidin (PAS-Sepang) under Standing Order 18 (1) and 18 (2), was not urgent and thus need not be debated.
