Mind your own business, Palanivel scolds Samy

Former MIC president S Samy Vellu must hand over the party's education wing, Maju Institute of Education Development (MIED) and Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology (Aimst) to the party.

In urging this, MIC president G Palanivel also urged his predecessor to be a gentleman and resign from posts that he is currently holding in these entities.

"Samy Vellu knows the party constitution well and as such he should be gentleman enough to hand over MIED and AIMST to the MIC. Why is he still holding on to these? What is his motive?" Palanivel asked in a statement.

Saying every leader has their own style of leadership and their own personal branding, Palanivel also lashed out at his predecessor Samy Vellu for unnecessarily meddling in MIC affairs.

"Different leaders have different styles of leadership. He had his and I

have mine. It is time to allow me to do it my way to improve the living standard of Indians in the country," he said, claiming Samy was the hidden hand instigating those who are going against him.

Since MIC's internal crisis, Palanivel has been drawn into criticism from

several leaders including Samy Vellu, for being indecisive and incapable.
