The Home Ministry’s ability to guarantee peace in Perlis has been called into question after the discovery of mass graves of bodies of refugees and trafficked people as the site is a stone’s throw from the Thai  border.

PKR Indera Kayangan assemblyperson Chan Ming Kai said a new complex for an anti-smuggling unit was erected at the Thai-Malaysian border last year, with supposedly better organised facilities.
