A Facebook page set up to promote the June 5 dialogue between Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and NGOs has now gone on a warpath against Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.

Since Tuesday, administrators of the Facebook page promoting the ‘Nothing to Hide’ dialogue with Najib, which eventually did not take place, have uploaded three separate posts that are highly critical of Tunku Ismail.

SukaGuam, the organisers of the dialogue, have disassociated themselves with those running this Facebook page.

Yesterday, one post on the page accused Tunku Ismail of "being part of the problem" by making accusations against Najib in an "impolite" manner in public.

"TMJ accused the prime minister of being someone who has everything to hide. He has tainted the integrity of his title," reads the post. TMJ refers to Tunku Mahkota Johor, referring to the Malay acronym for his position in the state royalty.

"Is the TMJ aware that on Sunday, the prime minister had given an explanation on various issues that have been accepted by those who were present?

"If the prime minister's dialogue with NGOs was not disrupted by uninvited guests and rabble rousers - Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his supporters - then (the prime minister) could have explained himself to the NGOs."

Najib had on Sunday told a closed-door dialogue attended by Umno divisional leaders and some NGO figures that he would resolve 1MDB's woes by the year-end .

The anonymous author of the post also accused Tunku Ismail of supporting the guilty party and said he should instead have taken Mahathir and his cohorts to task.

On the call from Culture and Tourism Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz ( photo ) to Tunku Ismail and members of the royalty to stay out of politics, the author said although the cabinet minister's choice of words was poor, his message was still valid.

"Don't forget - who started making the accusation?" the author said.

SukaGuam says it has nothing to do with those running this Facebook page.

"SukaGuam would like to assert that we are not the administrators of the Facebook page titled ‘DIALOG PM BERSAMA NGO’  (PM’s Dialogue with NGOs) that is currently active in criticising the honourable crown prince of Johor," SukaGuam's head Khairul Anwar Rahmat said in a statement yesterday.

The Facebook page appears to have been established on May 29, five days before Khairul announced that the dialogue, titled #Nothing2Hide would be held.

Following Najib's decision to give the dialogue a miss , Tunku Ismail had written on Facebook that someone with "everything to hide" will not turn up for an event titled "Nothing2Hide".
