Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE) said arrangements have been made for the remains of the last two Singapore victims killed on Mount Kinabalu following a 5.9 magnitude earthquake in Sabah on June 5, to be flown home today.

In a statement, MOE said the bodies of Navdeep Singh Jaryal Raj Kumar and Mohammad Ghazi Mohamed would be brought back to Singapore this afternoon.

“We will continue to provide support to the families of Navdeep and Ghazi during this difficult time, said MOE.

A total of 10 Singaporeans, including pupils and teachers from Tanjong Katong Primary School and an adventure guide, who were on an excursion trip at Mount Kinabalu were killed when the earthquake occurred.
