So SRC money in PM’s account also a donation?

YOURSAY | ‘What else can Azalina say? That Najib misappropriated the money?’

SRC says RM4b from KWAP accounted for in balance sheet

Mushiro: SRC International said the RM4 billion borrowed from Retirement Fund (Incorporated) (KWAP) is accounted for in its balance sheet.

According to SRC, they have made RM500 million from its investments over the years and spent part of it on CSR (corporate social responsibility).

But how much have they paid back KWAP?

Wg321: And how much profit did SRC make from the coal mine in Mongolia which it invested on an annual basis?

Anonymous 1545651439185163: If SRC's accounts show money paid to A for a coal mine and RM42 million paid to personal bank accounts of B, then the accounts are definitely in order, but can you reveal it to the rakyat?

Odin Tajué: SRC, the Sarawak Report did not fabricate the existence of the charge sheet. I’d argued that it did exist and was drafted by then attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail.

The claim that it was of the wrong format is just a load of cow dung. If it did not exist, why was Abdul Gani summarily removed from his position?

If it did not exist, why have SRC International top executives Nik Faisal Arif Kamil and Suboh Md Yassin fled overseas?

Anonymous 1230461438193244: Just to concur with Odin Tajué, I have copy and paste an extract from Clare Rewcastle-Brown of Sarawak Report challenging them to sue her, and this is not the first time she has thrown this challenge to her detractors.

Anyway here is the extract, “If SRC thinks Sarawak Report has got it wrong, then instead of running to local police forces to demand tame non-action, it should take up a court case against us in London, where we can examine the actual evidence.”

Najib: Don't put 1MDB through 'trial by media'

Boonpou: Actually Najib should have said, "Don't put 1MDB through trial by the ‘alternative’ media since most mainstream media are owned by Umno and its crony, MCA.

Besides, how are we to judge what is happening to 1MDB if not from alternative media. Do you expect us to wait for the verdict coming from the judiciary, the attorney-general, police...?

Doc: Just to inform you, Najib, 1MDB's trial by media - The Wall Street Journal, Malaysiakini, Sarawak Report , AlJazeera, BBC, Malaysian Insider , etc, have all provided the facts surrounding the case - has concluded and the verdict is out.

In the court of public opinion, Najib has been found to be guilty on all counts in committing fraud with regards to this fund. Punishment will come soon - to be meted out by the Malaysian people.

RKR: If Najib is sincere in resolving the 1MDB debacle, he should have not scuttled the investigations by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Attorney-General’s Chambers and Bank Negara.

He should have just let them do their work without interference.

Democrat: What? After your fired the AG and disbanded the PAC probe, you expect us to just wait for the issue to resolve itself?

Negarawan: “In terms of claims of wrongdoing, there are a number of investigations, some in Malaysia, which I myself ordered."

The right word is not "ordered" but "manipulated".

It is for this very reason that local investigations, namely by the MACC, PAC and the special task force, have lost their credibility.

Azalina sidesteps poser on SRC's RM42m in PM's accounts

Evensteven: I guess Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Azalina Othman has to say that the SRC money found in Najib’s bank account was a donation.

What else can she say? That Najib misappropriated it?

Notice that Najib is leaving it to his petty officers to answer questions pertaining to all donations given to him.

Goldee: Strange the PM is not answering the question but someone has to do it for him. Azalina seems to know the details of the RM42 million more than him.

This explanation will not help but make it worse for the PM. If it’s true the so-called donation is from SRC, a company owned by the Finance Ministry, it is CBT (criminal breach of trust) as the money was deposited into a personal bank account.

She thought she is smart but this implicated the PM.

Anonymous_40f4: SRC is a subsidiary of the Finance Ministry. And RM42 million of SRC money was deposited into the personal account of the finance minister.

That in the Umno dictionary is a ‘donation’?

MACC delivers slap in the face to SRC
