PAS strongly rejects Parti Amanah Negara's proposal to sign a cooperation agreement with Pakatan Harapan to clarify the status of the Selangor government.

Its vice-president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said the party will not work with DAP or Amanah.

"Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali said there is no such thing as Pakatan Harapan in Selangor.

"(So) we maintain our stand not to cooperate with DAP and Amanah. We only have ties with PKR and no one else.

"PAS is part of the Selangor government and there is no problem," he told Malaysiakini .

Amanah information chief Khalid Samad proposed a deal between Selangor PAS and Pakatan Harapan to clarify the status, which he said is like ' a married man with a mistress '.

This is because PKR, DAP and Amanah form Pakatan Harapan, but the Selangor exco is made up of PAS, DAP and PKR representatives.

Azmin said he will discuss the matter with Amanah on Thursday.
