PARLIAMENT The special taskforce probing 1MDB is still investigating the case.

De facto Law Minister Nancy Shukri said there is no time frame set for the investigations as there are many witnesses and documents to obtain, some of which are overseas.

"The probe will be completed after the statements of all witnesses are recorded and all related documents obtained," Nancy said.

She added that once it is done, the report will be tabled to Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali for further action.

Nancy said this in a written reply to a query from Zainudin Ismail (BN-Jelebu) who wanted to know the progress of the special taskforce probe.

He also wanted to know if the probe will be tabled in Parliament.

The special taskforce was set up by Apandi's predecessor Abdul Gani Patail and comprises the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, police and Bank Negara.
