Only devils feel the heat, portal roasts 'PM visits Hadi' critics
A pro-Umno portal unleashes an infernal roasting on Muslims who criticised Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's gesture of visiting PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang in hospital.
In a posting today, MyKMU.net said the comments and reactions which appeared on social media did not reflect the good behaviour of Muslims.
"It is clear what the prime minister did (visiting Hadi) was in line with Islam.
"What is saddening is that there exists some Muslims who are envious and think ill of the visit," added the portal, which is a staunch defender of the prime minister.
As mentioned in the last Umno general assembly, MyKMU.net said Najib has been consistent with his policy of opening the space to embrace all quarters.
"When two Muslims known as having differences, suddenly come together to build the Muslim fraternity, do not be surprised if the devils feel the heat which is of a greater temperature than that of a volcano.
"Hopefully, you are not in the group that is burning in the heat after seeing the photo," it added.
The portal was referring to a photograph posted on Najib's Facebook which showed the prime minister at the bedside of the PAS president, who is warded at the National Heart Institute (IJN).
Najib also mentioned that he was praying for Hadi's recovery.
The prime minister, who is also Umno president, recently extended an olive branch to PAS, which is his party's traditional arch nemesis.
This elicited mixed responses, with the Syura Council stating that while cooperation is welcomed in issues related to strengthening Islam, PAS would not join the ruling coalition.
Earlier, PAS vice-president Iskandar Samad said the grassroots would not agree to working with Umno as the latter committed numerous sins against PAS supporters and members.
Hadi, on the other hand, is often accused of being supportive of Najib and a unity government with Umno.
