PAS leaves to federal govt' to push hudud agenda

Islamist-party PAS has left it to the federal government to continue pushing its hudud agenda in Parliament.

This arises as the party announces its newly-formed alliance with Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia (Ikatan) to form a new opposition bloc.

PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan told reporters today that the proposal should come from the federal government as it involves amendments to a federal law.
