Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak would not have time for his wife Rosmah Mansor if he had to respond to all the accusations against him, quipped Deputy Agriculture and Agro-based Industries Minister Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.

This is because there are thousands of accusations levied against the prime minister especially on social media, Tajuddin said.

"Najib will have no other job to do, no time to sleep, and no time to be with Datin Seri (Rosmah) also," he told reporters in the Parliament lobby.

He said this while commenting on a letter published by the Australian media yesterday, stating that Najib purportedly received a donation of US$375 million from a Saudi prince in 2011.

The donation is part of several transactions Najib allegedly received from the Saudi prince, ranging from US$100 million on Feb 1, 2011, to US$800 million on March 1, 2013, Australian broadcaster ABC reported.

However, Tajuddin said, these claims must be verified, as they may have originated from someone who is unhappy with the prime minister.

Najib has denied any wrongdoing in a previous donation scandal involving RM2.6 billion in 2013.

Attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali has also cleared the prime minister of any criminal misconduct in receiving the donation.
