Two men were injured when a table tennis ball stuffed with gun powder exploded at the Hua Lamphong train station in Bangkok.

The incident happened at 11.56 am, The Bangkok Post reported.

The men were sent to hospital and the area declared safe.

Photos of released by Thai police show the men sitting cross-legged on the floor, with blood splattered in front of them.

Police are investigating the motive of the bombing, the daily reported.
