The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has yet to submit their investigation papers related to Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's bungalow purchase to the Attorney-General's Chambers.

"Until now, I haven't received anything. MACC is still going through the investigations before they hand over the investigation papers.

"It is up to them when they want to hand over the papers and we have also not given them any set date to send it in," Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali said, when he was asked on the status of the MACC probe, reported Utusan Malaysia.

Apandi explained that he is giving MACC all the time they need to complete their investigations as he does not want it to be done in a rush.

The MACC is investigating Lim over his purchase of the Jalan Pinhorn bungalow in George Town, at RM2.8 million, allegedly below-market price.

Umno MP Shabudin Yahya, who first raised the issue in Parliament in March, had queried whether Lim's purchase of the bungalow was linked to the sale of a state government land in Taman Manggis to Kuala Lumpur International Dental Centre Sdn Bhd (KLIDC).

The previous owner of Lim's bungalow, Phang Li Koon, is the director of Windbond Management and Consultants, which allegedly had sought projects from the state government.

Her business partner in Windbond is also reported to be a shareholder in KLIDC.

However, Phang in a statutory declaration declared she had no business dealings with the state government and no interest in KLIDC.

According to her, the bungalow was sold to Lim on a "willing seller, willing buyer basis".
