Pakatan Harapan postponed its meeting on the two parliamentary by-elections for a second time today because it is still waiting for a response from PAS, according to PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Wan Azizah said this is to help avoid three-cornered fights in Sungai Besar in Selangor and in Kuala Kangsar in Perak for the June 18 by-elections.

"We are waiting for a response from PAS. We had our meeting privately (because) they are the ones who actually contested in the two seats before.

"So, it's one of the basis of the negotiations on how to solve it (three-cornered fights)," Wan Azizah told reporters in the Parliament lobby today.

Harapan was supposed to meet on the by-elections last Thursday, but it was postponed to today, before being postponed again to a date yet to be determined.

The nomination date for both the Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar by-elections is June 5.
