Tension ran high outside the Selangor state secretariat building this afternoon when Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Md Yunos turned up with another publicity stunt.

Jamal, dressed as a grave digger and accompanied by more than a dozen hearses with empty coffins in them, appeared outside the building to protest against the alleged abuse of the "Skim Mesra Usia Emas" (SMUE), a scheme to fund costs incurred at the death of senior family members in Selangor.

An unidentified man, accompanied by several people, confronted Jamal, yelling that the people are tired of his antics.

Jamal responded by calling them "dogs".

However, the confrontation did not escalate as police quickly intervened to separate the two groups.
