In a new twist, PAS has poured cold water on Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Muhyiddin Yassin's claim that the relationship between Bersatu and the Islamist party was getting warmer.

PAS deputy spiritual adviser Ahmad Yakob denied that his party had agreed to negotiate seat allocations for the general election with Bersatu, Utusan Online reported today.
