The Nothing to Hide 2 forum turned violent after provocateurs hurled slippers, bottles, chairs and flares in the direction of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad while he was speaking.

Bersatu Youth chief Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman claimed the provocateurs intended to hurt Mahathir and had distributed free Bersatu T-shirts among them to slip into the forum venue.

Federal Territories Umno Youth chief Mohd Razlan Muhammad Rafii is glad that Umno did not entertain Bersatu's challenge for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to debate Mahathir during the event.

Police said three people were arrested during the fracas and organisers of the event would be summoned for questioning for failing to ensure security.

More raids on Phee's office

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission raided Penang exco Phee Boon Poh's service centre in Butterworth, two days after raiding his state executive council office at Komtar.
