Umno Sungai Besar division chief Jamal Md Yunos has threatened to “kick” DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang over the latter’s actions in the Dewan Rakyat today.

Jamal expressed support for Dewan Rakyat speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia’s move to suspend Kit Siang from the lower house, but said more drastic measures should have been taken.

“Rather than being asked to leave, Kit Siang should have been kicked out of Parliament.

“If I was at the Parliament earlier, I would have terajang (kicked) him. It’s a good thing that I was not allowed to enter Parliament when I wanted to.

“It was right for Kit Siang to be removed because he was disrespectful to the Parliament and the speaker,” he told a press conference at his Gerakan Gabungan NGO Malaysia office in Ampang today.

Jamal added that Kit Siang, who is Gelang Patah MP, was no longer fit to represent the people, given that his son, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, is now embroiled in a corruption case.

He also branded Kit Siang a “communist” and accused him of working with Guan Eng to steal money from Penang citizens.

“Kit Siang should not be an MP anymore because he should first settle the case of his son stealing money.

“His son and he have stolen money from the people of Penang, making a tunnel worth hundreds of millions of ringgit, and even then, no tunnel is to be seen.

“Before he accuses others of being a pencuri (thief), he is the one who is a pencuri,” he said.

Jamal was making reference to a commotion that broke out in Parliament earlier today during the debate of the Election Commission’s redelineation proposal.

Lim had called BN “hypocrites,” “thieves,” and “robbers” after being told to sit down by Pandikar for questioning the decision to embargo the proposal last week.

This led to Baling MP Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim saying to Lim, "This is indeed a communist."

Bersih demonstrators ‘yellow-shirted dogs’

At the same press conference, Jamal urged police to take stern action against those who protested the EC’s report outside the Parliament building today, even going as far as to label them “yellow-shirted dogs.”

“We ask the police to take stern action on these yellow-shirted dogs so that they are charged in court.

“The inspector-general of police has already given them a warning and yet they have broken the law with no action taken against them.

“Therefore I ask that the police do not compromise in acting against these demonstrators that have brought shame to the country,” he said.

Jamal had in an earlier video clip explained that he decided to call off a red shirts counter-rally because he was unimpressed with the number of protesters that had shown up.

“To me, if the red shirts had gathered to protest, it would not be worth it because there were only 500 people.

“That’s why this morning I told my red shirt friends that they should just sit at home and have breakfast with their families.

“Rather than wear yellow shirts and being under the heat and sweating, it's better to peel mangoes for breakfast,” he had said.
