Najib unveils BN manifesto

BN chairperson Najib Abdul Razak unveiled BN's manifesto with the theme of making the country "hebat" (Making Malaysia great).

During the manifesto announcement, Najib also announced the doubling of BR1M payments for the rest of this year.

The manifesto, among others, promised an English school pilot project in East Malaysia and also a special prison for Poca and Pota detainees.

TMJ open fire on Dr M ahead of GE14

Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim slammed Pakatan Harapan Dr Mahathir Mohamad ahead of the 14th general election, but did not name him directly.

Mahathir wants to shame the Election Commission (EC) and Registrar of Societies heads, accusing them of helping do BN's "dirty work".

Amanah president Mohamad Sabu criticised the provisional dissolution order against Bersatu, pointing out that when Mahathir was prime minister, he allowed Semangat 46 to challenge Umno.

The EC said only PKR flags can be flown in the 14th general election if Pakatan Harapan intends to use it as the common logo.

PKR vice president Nurul Izzah Anwar said the attacks against Harapan for using PKR's logo showed Umno is running scared.

DAP founding member Chen Man Hin gave his endorsement to the PKR common logo after initially expressing reservations.

Rizalman cleared

Police have confirmed that Bandar Tun Razak Umno division chief Rizalman Mokhtar’s urine sample has tested negative for drugs after being sent to a lab.

Following this, Rizalman urged the public to stop attacks against him on social media.

The EC says the 14th general election date will only be announced after all state assemblies are dissolved.

BN deputy chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi wants the election to be the cleanest and most peaceful one.

Rosmah Mansor, the wife of BN chairperson Najib Abdul Razak, said the people should be proud of the BN-led government's empowerment of women.

Parti Rakyat Malaysia will seek a comeback to mainstream politics by fielding 20 candidates in Selangor.

PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim criticised Umno for refusing royal assent for new legislation, stating this shows the party is not a defender of the Malay rulers.
