Anwar: Allegations against Baru's officer 'compelling and disturbing'

PKR president-elect Anwar Ibrahim is set to meet Works Minister Baru Bian tomorrow regarding the allegation of corruption against the latter's political secretary.

Anwar told a press conference today that he will meet Baru, the PKR lawmaker for Selangau, to seek an explanation regarding the matter, which he described as "compelling and disturbing."

This morning, PKR Youth coordinator Ahmad Syukri Che Ab Razak lodged a report with the MACC against Baru's political secretary, who is running for a seat on the PKR central leadership council...
