Jelebu PKR division lodges police report over excluded ballots

PKR POLLS | The Jelebu Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) division has made a report at the Jelebu police headquarters today to demand the party’s election committee (JPP) recount 315 votes which were not counted in the election on Saturday.

Division head Mohamed Zabidi Abdullah said the report followed the committee’s decision not to include the 315 votes due to Internet problems on that day.

"We urge JPP to recount the votes. We will accept the existing decision but in the interest of justice for all, we are seeking for the said votes to be counted.

“If there is a decision for re-election by JPP, we hope JPP will inform us on the status of the 315 votes before holding the Jelebu division re-election,” he told reporters after lodging the police report.
