PAS supporters' wing believes that PAS is committed to maintaining vernacular schools in Malaysia “forever”.

In a statement today, the wing's secretary S Barathidasan (photo, above) said PAS was always fair and transparent to all Malaysians.

Referring to calls at the party's annual national delegates meeting over the weekend which demanded Putrajaya shut down Chinese and Tamil schools, Barathidasan said this was not PAS' policy.
