MCO violation - Zahid's daughter and her husband to be charged soon

Nurulhidayah, the daughter of Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, will be charged soon for violating the movement control order.
Bukit Aman CID chief Huzir Mohamed said the charge will be for violating Regulation 3(1) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within the Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2020.
Her husband Saiful Nizam Mohd Yusoff will also be charged.
The violation can be punished with a fine of up to RM1,000 or up to six months in jail.

The charges are over an Instagram post she made almost two weeks ago, revealing that she and Saiful Nizam had ventured out to meet Deputy Environment and Water Minister Ahmad Masrizal Muhammad.
"Exchanging views and ideas is my way with YB Datuk Dr Masrizal, the deputy minister since the time he served as my father's political secretary not too long ago.
"A dear friend to our family," she had said on April 20.
Besides meeting Masrizal, Nurulhidayah and her husband had also dropped in on de facto Islamic affairs minister Zulkifli Mohamad that day.
Police recorded Nurulhidayah and Saiful Nizam's statements on April 24 following public uproar over her apparent flouting of the MCO.
Previously Deputy Health Minister Noor Azmi Ghazali and Perak exco member Razman Zakaria were fined RM1,000 each for violating the MCO.
