Report: Woman in Perak who flouted home quarantine hospitalised for Covid-19

A photo of her having a meal at a restaurant in Perak that recently went viral was taken on July 6.
She arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International airport on July 4, said the source.
"The incident happened at a cafe on July 6. She was having breakfast with her family in Perak.
"The second test on the 13th day of her supposedly 14-day quarantine showed that she's positive for Covid-19.
"She and her son were admitted on July 17," the source told Sinar Harian.
The source said the health authorities stated that the virus volume in the woman's body was low, and the risk of infection was also low.
Ipoh district police chief A Asmadi Abdul Aziz had confirmed the matter with the Malay daily.
Meanwhile, the restaurant which the woman visited has been sanitised after the owner notified the Fire and Rescue Department.
The owner, known as Sham, told Sinar Harian that they were not aware that the woman was wearing the wristband for a person under surveillance.
"She was wearing a long sleeve shirt. We didn't realise (the wristband) at all," said Sham.
However, due to the incident, Sham said the customers were afraid to come to his restaurant, and business declined for the past two days.
The restaurant has 20 workers who would go for the Covid-19 test following the incident.
