Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden was back as the favourite to win US elections in online betting markets, according to Britain-based Smarkets Exchange, a reversal of fortune for President Donald Trump who was favourite overnight.

The shift came after Biden overtook Trump in the battleground state of Wisconsin with an estimated 89 percent of the vote tallied so far. Trump has 49 percent and Biden has 49.3 percent of vote, according to Edison Research.
