Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) has confirmed that as of 7am today, all 72 areas in the Petaling region have received full recovery of their water supply.
Other affected areas will have full water resumption by noon, said Air Selangor.
"This is in relation to the incident of the main pipe breaking in Tengku Ampuan Promenade Circle, Section 15 in Shah Alam.
"As of 7 this morning, all 72 areas in the Petaling region have received water supply and fully recovered.
"Meanwhile, 84 percent of the 58 areas the Klang/Shah Alam regions have recovered. The rest will receive their water supply in stages and full recovery is expected by noon," said Air Selangor's Corporate Communications head Elina Baseri in a statement.
The nine areas in Klang/Shah Alam that are still affected are Jalan Raja Lumu, Jalan Kem, Kampung Kastam, Kampung Pendamar, Pandamaran, Persiaran Raja Muda Musa, Taman Berembang, Taman Pendamar Indah and Taman Suria Pendamar.
Air Selangor would like to thank its users for the patience and cooperation over the unscheduled water supply disruption.
