As the country moves towards national recovery after two years of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Malaysian Palm Oil Association (MPOA) has urged the government to lift a ban on migrant workers recruitment.

MPOA chief executive officer Mohammed Nageeb Wahab said this was as the industry has over the years became reliant on migrant workers, representing about 84 percent of its total workforce, mostly doing harvesting work.
