At least six Palestinians were killed and several others injured Sunday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a school housing displaced families in western Gaza City, Palestine News and Info Agency reported.

Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes struck the Kafr Qassem School in the al-Shati refugee camp, resulting in the death of six individuals and multiple injuries.

The wounded were transported to Al-Shifa Medical Complex for treatment.

This incident follows a previous attack Saturday on the Al-Falah School in the Al-Zeitoun neighbourhood of Gaza City, which resulted in the killing of 21 people, including 13 children, six women, and an infant while injuring 30 others.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in 41,391 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 95,760 others injured.

In addition, thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defence teams due to Israeli attacks.
