Send Isham Jalil to China's political schools, Puad tells PN

Umno leader Mohd Puad Zarkashi today told Perikatan Nasional to enrol Isham Jalil in China’s politics schools following the opposition’s defeat in the Mahkota by-election in Johor.

In a Facebook post mocking PN’s huge loss, in which its candidate was defeated by over 20,000 votes, Puad claimed that Isham’s campaign narratives had backfired on PN.

“Isham must have been ‘koyak-rabak’ (badly affected) by the poll’s results. (Because) BN won with an even bigger majority.

“His narrative about DAP has failed again after Nenggiri.

“This proves that he is somewhat a ‘pest’ campaigner (for PN),” Puad posted this morning.

The Mahkota by-election yesterday saw BN win the straight fight after its candidate Syed Hussien Syed Abdullah picked up almost 28,000 votes against PN’s Mohamad Haizan Jaafar, who managed to secure only some 7,300 votes.

Adding further, Puad also chided Isham for trying to play up anti-communist sentiments among voters by accusing BN of learning communism during its recent trip to China.

He said Isham, a former member of the Umno supreme council, had somehow forgotten that Umno and BN led the country in its war against the Malayan Communist Party.

Isham’s attempt had failed to fool Mahkota voters and instead caused PN to suffer, Puad added.

“Among China’s doctrines to its future generations is to put morality first. This is very different from Bersatu, which adopts lie and ‘spin’ before everything else.

“They should send Isham to learn at China’s political schools.

“Indoctrinate Isham so he won’t continue to be such a pest of a spin doctor,” Puad said.
