Rafizi on decision making: 'It's about what must happen'

Former PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli has shared the guiding principles behind his decision-making.

"We make all kinds of decisions every day. There are big decisions, and there are small decisions.

“Here is my tip for making decisions. It is not about what we want. It is about what needs to happen,” he said in a social media post this evening.

Rafizi, who resigned as economy minister after failing to defend his party position in the PKR polls, remains tight-lipped about his plans.

It is still unclear whether his latest post hints at his political future or simply reflects his passing thoughts.

Previously, the Pandan MP promised to reveal more about his plans after Hari Raya Haji (June 7).

In a post on X last week, Rafizi said: “I have already planned what to focus on after this, but let's allow everyone to calm down first, (with the upcoming) Hari Raya Haji and so on.

"I'll share more later. The true potential of this country lies in ordinary people. We have to go back to harnessing this potential."

In the PKR election, Rafizi was unseated by Nurul Izzah, the daughter of prime minister and PKR president Anwar Ibrahim, prompting allegations of nepotism.

Anwar denied the claims, asserting that Nurul Izzah was elected by party members through a democratic process.

She secured 9,803 votes in a race that saw approximately 15,000 delegates casting their ballots both online and in person.
