The Housing and Local Government Ministry, through the New Chinese Indian Villages Division under the Local Government Department, has implemented a total of 2,750 development projects in Kampung Baru nationwide from 2023 to 2025.

Minister Nga Kor Ming said the public infrastructure projects were carried out across 613 new villages, involving an allocation of RM325.3 million.
